Erratum: Error in the given primer concentrations.

We have unfortunately discover error in the given primer concentrations in our article. The incorrect primer concentrations affect the efficiency of the PCR reactions.
In the PCR method section in the article it is stated that it was used a primer concentration of 250nM in a 25µl PCR reaction (150nM for P.ovale); however this should be 1µM (and 600nM for P.ovale).
(In the text it is written as follows: “Reaction mixture for both assays contained 250nM of each primer, and additionally...” and “The primer concentrations were 250nM with an exception of 150nM for P.ovale”.)
We are very sorry for our inaccuracy/error, and for the inconvenience this can have cause.
