- The effect on parasite viability by the endogenous stressor N-methylphenazonium methosulfate, the exogenous stressor tert-butylhydroperoxide and the aminotransferase inhibitor L-cycloserine were determined by the incorporation of [3H]-hypoxanthine in the presence of increasing drug concentrations. The IC50 values were calculated by non linear regressing of the sigmoidal dose-response equation and shown are the mean ± S.D. of two (N-methylphenazonium methosulfate) or three (tert-butylhydroperoxide) independent experiments. For L-cycloserine the mean ± S.E.M of six independent experiments is shown.
