Location of Mab epitopes within the MSP4 amino acid sequence. Full amino acid sequence of MSP4 (blue) is aligned with the sequences corresponding to four recombinant fragments (MSP4A: amino acids D21-E83; MSP4B: A84-E147: MSP4C: A148-D203; MSP4D: L204-S248), and 23 synthetic peptides (MSP4.1 - MSP4.23). The epitopes for a number of Mabs are indicated in red within several of the peptides: Mab H12 (MSP4.2), Mab 6G10 (MSP4.13), and Mabs 4C10, 1G10, 1H2, 6G11 (MSP4.20).
