Nitidine's moment of action on the erythrocytic cycle of Plasmodium falciparum. A parasite culture synchronized over a six-hour period was subjected to an eight-hour pulse of nitidine at IC50 (grey bars), 1/10 (dark grey) and 10 times the value (white bars).
