Plasmodium falciparum sporozoite morphology is altered by anti- Pf CSP-SAPN serum antibodies. Plasmodium falciparum sporozoites were incubated with either Pf CSP-SAPN immunized serum taken two weeks post third immunization (Panel A) or serum from (Panel A) treated to remove Ca2+ ions (Panel B), serum from (Panel A) heat-inactivated in order to inactivate C’ (Panel C), serum from PBS-immunized mice (Panel D), or serum from mice immunized with Pv CSP-SAPN two weeks post third immunization (Panel E).
