  1. Representative sample values for the three ITN parameters (coverage, repellence and mortality) are used to evaluate the impact of ITNs in isolation. For each of the three ITN coverage schemes (see Methods and Figure 3) and 60 distinct parameter combinations, 50 replicated simulations are run, yielding a total of 15,000 simulations. Results are shown in Figures 8, 9 and Additional files 9, 10, 11 and 12.
