Analysis of epitope recognition by peptide microarray. Antibodies generated in goats (blue) and rats (black) were tested for peptide recognition against the homologous sequences on a 15-mers peptide array. For IT4var60 (A)*, IT4var9 (B) and PAvarO (C) goat IgG were tested at 1μg/ml while rat sera at 1:100 dilution. Shown is the average of the individual animals immunized with the same protein. Results are expressed as arbitrary absorbance units normalized to the highest value set as 100%. *Data for goat IgG are also presented in [52].
