Gene encoding amino acid residues 1–228 of pf DHFR domain was cloned into pAC28 expression vector, whereas gene fragments encoding the pf TS domain with different lengths of JR that are attached to the N-terminus (amino acid residue 320) of pf TS were cloned into the pET15b expression vector.
