Environmental temperatures significantly change the impact of insecticides measured using WHOPES protocols

In accordance with WHO protocols, each exposure temperature experiment included four replicates of approximately 25 females for the treatment groups exposed to the resistance-disciminating concentrations (permethrin: 0.75%; malathion: 5%). Groups of control mosquitoes, exposed to insecticide-free papers, were likewise replicated. There were two experiments in which mosquitoes were exposed to malathion.
