Table 2 Number of mosquitoes exposed to each temperature treatment in acclimation experiments

From: Environmental temperatures significantly change the impact of insecticides measured using WHOPES protocols

  Permethrin [%] Malathion [%]

  1. Each temperature treatment and insecticide concentration were typically replicated four times, approximately 25 mosquitoes per replicate. In the permethrin experiment, mosquitoes escaped and replicates were dropped in two cases (group 18–26, 0.25 and 0.75%). Some treatment groups exposed to malathion or malathion controls were additionally replicated in time (26–18 and 26–26: 0, 0.25 and 0.5%; 18–26: 0%).
