Upper and lower panels show results for P. vivax and P. falciparum, respectively, while results for 2004 to 2008 are shown from left to right. Letters in the upper left panel refer to state names (AC = Acre, AM = Amazonas, RR = Roraima, AP = Amapa, PA = Para, and RO = Rondonia). The same colour scheme was used for all panels, where warmer colours indicate higher malaria risk. Numbers in colour key are predicted malaria incidence per capita per month.
