Experiment 2: for each of five heritabilities of mean sperm length in A. gambiae (0.18, 0.27, 0.36, 0.45, 0.54) and the nine family sample sizes (32, 48, 64, 80, 96, 112, 128, 144, 160), the power to detect a statistically significant among family variance component in mean sperm length is shown.
