Effect of formulation. Cumulative daily proportional survival of female An. gambiae s.s. exposed for 6 hrs to cardboard papers manually coated with M. anisopliae spores (triangles) or B. bassiana spores (circles) formulated in Shellsol solvent (S, red), a 1:1 Shellsol/Ondina mix (S:O, blue) or Ondina oil (O, green). For each formulation, one group of 50 females was exposed to 3 × 1011 viable spores/m2. Corresponding control groups (black) were exposed to the solvents only.
