Effect of sample size on the relationship between intensity and prevalence of P. falciparum oocysts in mosquitoes fed control monoclonal antibodies and test sera. Experimental sera plus negative control serum and positive controls (MRA38 and MRA39) where were plotted against based on sample size of (A) ≤20 mosquitoes per sample (range = 14–20 mosquitoes per sample), (B) 21–24 mosquitoes per sample or (C) ≥25 mosquitoes per sample (range = 25–28 mosquitoes per sample). Symbols match those in Figure 4.
