From: P-selectin is a host receptor for Plasmodium MSP7 ligands
PfMSP7 can block the interaction between P-selectin and its glycan ligand Sialyl-LewisX. P-selectin bait was immobilized and pre-incubated with the indicated concentrations of the PfMSP7 pentamer before addition of an avid alkaline-phosphatase-conjugated SLeX binding reagent. PfMSP7 pentamers blocked SLeX binding to immobilized P-selectin. Data points represent mean ± SD, n = 3; a representative experiment from two independent experiments is shown
