  1. aHBR is expressed as the average number of bites per person per night. It was assumed that an average villager spends 1 h outdoors between 1800 and 2200 h and the remainder of the night indoors
  2. bOnly collections between 1800 and 0000 h were used for both indoors and outdoors for calculations of the extent of exophagic habit of the vector independent of night time habits of humans
