The coverage of 2+ doses of IPTp is markedly higher than the coverage of 3+ doses, but both general improved over time between 2003 and 2013. Reflecting this, the median 5-year average annualized difference in coverage of IPTp-SP2+ was 12.4 % (IQR 3.8–28.0 %) and 5.5 % (IQR 0.8–8.4 %) for IPTp-SP3+
