  1. Associations were measured using all sampling time points from each participant compared to either day 0 parasite densities or prior episodes of asymptomatic parasitaemia in previous 180 days. Day 0 parasite density ≤ 23,080 parasites/μl n = 20 and > 23,080 parasites/μl n = 18. Of the 38 participants in this study, ten had one or more episodes of asymptomatic parasitaemia in the previous 180 days
