Strong correlations between mean oocysts and the standard deviation or the prevalence at both LMVR and TropIQ. For each COM, mean number of oocysts, the standard deviation a and the prevalence of infected mosquitoes b were calculated. Each point represents the data from a single COM. LMVR data include all COMs examined at LMVR in the last 5 years (n = 3014), and TropIQ data include only COMs used in this study (n = 33)
