Stratification

Tier 1 provinces (prioritized for immediate multifaceted response to contain or eliminate resistance)

Tier 2 provinces (prioritized for intensified malaria control to reduce transmission and/or limit the risk of emergence or spread of resistant parasites)

Sub-national, five southern provinces

National, four geographic domains:

Eastern domain

Central domain

Western domain

Coastal domain

Thai–Cambodia border areas

Thai–Myanmar border areas
