Sequence alignments of amino acid sequences of msp-1 RO33 distinct allelic variants among Plasmodium falciparum isolates from Grande Comore. A total of 12 distinct variants were found by sequence analysis of msp-1 block 2, including 9 from the 2006‒2007 group (RO33-1 to 6, 8, 10, and 12) and 9 form the 2013‒2016 group (RO33-1 to 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12).
