  1. The table shows first the sensitivity and specificity of microscopy and RDTs, taking into account the general diagnosis of malaria and without considering the different species. The second part of the table  shows the specificity and sensitivity in the detection of P. falciparum, considering that the RDTs permits only the diagnosis of this species with accuracy
