G6PD activity in per cent. The graph shows the distribution of G6PD activity in per cent for the study population, two very low values were assumed invalid as control enzyme activity was also very low, they were not included in the analysis (n = 204). Normal activity was defined as the median activity in U/g Hb in the male population and set 100%. No values below 70% were detected
