Inhibition of PvG6PD (a, b) and PfGluPho (c, d) by ML304. The data indicates a competitive inhibition with respect to G6P for both enzymes. The higher the concentration of ML304, the higher the KM values of PvG6PD and PfGluPho for G6P were; Vmax stayed constant (a, c). With respect to NADP+, ML304 acts as a mixed type inhibitor on PvG6PD (b) and as a non-competitive inhibitor on PfGluPho (d)
