Mid- and long-term effects of ML304 on the glutathione redox ratio of Plasmodium falciparum NF54[hGrx1–roGFP2]. 4 h incubation of NF54[hGrx1–roGFP2] -transfectants with ML304 led to a concentration-dependent increase in fluorescence ratio as detected using the Clariostar plate reader (a). 24 h incubation with varying ML304 concentrations led to increases in 405/475 nm fluorescence ratios with a significant effect of the highest compound concentration (8.88 µM) (b).
