These were calculated from the calendar for each month as gazetted by the Government of Zimbabwe

Number of working days

All working days (5.5 days per week) were added up for 5 months

Total number of absent days by workers

Absence frequency × average duration of spells (spells × severity rate)

Total number of scheduled working days for all workers

All working days excluding holidays in 5 months × total workers

Absenteeism rate

(Total number of absent days divided by total scheduled days) × 100
