Anemia status relative to rapid diagnostic test results at recruitment, and during 1st and 2nd post intervention screenings. The proportion of RDT-positive children with moderate anemia was higher at recruitment (58.3%) than that at 2nd post-intervention screening (42.5%). The proportion of those with severe malaria was also higher at recruitment (5.0%) that at 2nd post-intervention screening (2.5%). The proportion of RDT-negative children with severe anemia at recruitment (2.3%) dropped to 0.0% at 1st and rose to 1.6% at 2nd post-intervention screenings
