Modest increase in differential gene expression over the course of a primary Plasmodium yoelii 17X infection. Three animals (M1, M2 and M3) were infected with P. yoelii 17X iRBCs from a single donor mouse (D). RNA was isolated on day 10 or 11 post-infection and P. yoelii DNA microarrays were completed. The three pair-wise comparisons between individual mice and the donor are listed at the top of the Figure, and functional categories are listed in the far left column. Up- and down-regulation for each comparison is indicated as described for Figure1.
