  1. Parasitized red blood cells were incubated with different concentrations of drugs for 72 hr and parasite growth was evaluated using the haemozoin-based colorimetric method. The IC50 and its 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were calculated from the concentration-response curve of the haemozoin level vs the log concentration of a drug
