Lanes 1&23: 100 bp (HyperLadder IV from Bioline); Lane2: negative control; Lanes 3–7: positive controls with 3: An leesoni 146 bp, 4: An. parensis 252 bp, 5: An. rivulorum 411 bp, 6: An. funestus 505 bp and 7: An. vaneedeni 587 bp. Lanes 8–9, 11–18 and 20–22 An. parensis from Mamfene. Lanes 10 and 19 did not amplify.
