Figure 2 shows Kaplan Meier survival plots showing time to seizure recurrence within 24 hours after initial control of the seizure in the following subgroups of patients: A. Malaria type: Cerebral malaria vs. non-cerebral malaria. B. Seizure type: Focal seizures vs. generalized seizures. C. Seizure frequency *: > 2 vs. < 3. D. Prior treatment with diazepam*: Received diazepam vs. did not receive diazepam. * 24 hours prior to presentation to the acute care unit.
