A protein-centric approach for the identification of folate enzymes from the malarial parasite, Plasmodium falciparum, using OFFGEL™ solution-based isoelectric focussing and mass spectrometry

For each protein the observed protein molecular mass and isoelectric point corresponds to the theoretical values as obtained from UNIPROT. The percentage false discovery rate was calculated using a decoy database and the peptide homology or identity threshold set at p < 0.001.
