Anti-malarial sensitivity assay of wild type and Pfmdr mutant parasites using seven drugs. Dose–response inhibition curves showing sensitivity of wild type (NF54), and P. falciparum mdr mutant (PfΔmdr2 and PfΔmdr5) parasites to ART (A), ATO (B), CQ (C), DHA (D), LUM (E), MQ (F) and QN (G) were plotted with fixed Hill slopes. All assays were repeated at least three times in triplicates in order to determine significant differences by a paired t-test between the obtained logIC50-values of wild type and mutant groups.
