Kinetics of cytokine gene expression in PBMC and splenocytes. The cells were obtained from one Saimiri sciureus (PA51) and cultured for 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hrs in the absence or presence of PMA/ionomycin. The relative expression was considered as the expression of the corresponding genes in PBMC or splenocyte cultured in absence of PMA and ionomycin.
