In P. vivax-infected patients, hsa-miR-150-5p AUC was 0.7794 (p = 0.0062), hsa-miR-15b-5p AUC was 0.8766 (p = 0.0015), and hsa-let-7a was 0.8375 (p = 0.0014). For the P. falciparum-infected patients, there was the hsa-let-7a-5p that was statistically significant with AUC 0.8221 (p = 0.0033)
