Susceptibility of the pyrethroid-resistant Anopheles coluzzii Akron strain to insecticides in study nets. Chlorfenapyr, pyriproxyfen and alpha-cypermethrin exposures were performed in WHO bottle bioassays while deltamethrin exposures were performed in WHO filter paper tube tests. Approximately 100 mosquitoes of each strain were exposed for 1 h to each insecticide in replicates of 25. For pyriproxyfen, mosquitoes were blood-fed before exposure and their ovaries dissected after 72 h to assess ovary development
